Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned agency that's been serving families in Kennesaw and across northwest Cobb County for years. We're not a national franchise with a call center in another state. We're around the corner, our clients are local, and the caregivers on our team are part of this community too. Right now we're looking for a few more.

    What the work looks like

You'd be visiting clients in their homes during the day — helping with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), preparing meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. You'll work with the same clients week to week, so this isn't a revolving-door kind of job. You get to know people. They get to count on you. That's the job done right.

    The schedule

Daytime hours are our biggest need right now — generally 8am to 5pm on weekdays. That said, we also have openings for evening and overnight shifts. If you have availability during the day, evenings, or can do overnights, there's a good chance we have something that fits. We're looking for caregivers who can commit to 20 or more hours per week.

    What we need from you

    • Valid Georgia driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle
    • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified before you start)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
    • Clear background check
    • CNA or PCA experience is a plus — if you don't have credentials yet but have real caregiving experience, paid training is available
    What you get

    • $15–$18/hr depending on your experience and certifications
    • W-2 employment — you're a direct hire, not a contractor or agency temp
    • Mileage reimbursement
    • Holiday pay at time-and-a-half
    • Bi-weekly paychecks
    • Referral bonuses — refer a caregiver who sticks around and you get paid
    • Paid training and continuing education
    • 24/7 support
We know the people in this town. We'd like to know you too.
