Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson to join The Sheraton Palo Alto team. This is a full-time, hourly Hospitality/Restaurant position located in Palo Alto, California. As the Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson, you will be the point of contact for our guests, by providing exceptional service to exceed their expectations.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a salary based position paying $22 per hour with regular bi-weekly payrolls. Benefits include medical, vision, dental and life insurance and vacation/sick/holiday leave.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and guide them to their destination while ensuring they have a positive experience.
- Act as a source of information and act accordingly on all questions and/or requests from guests.
- Assist with baggage handling and check-ins.
- Monitor the activity of public areas within the hotel, such as the lobby, guest lounges and other common areas.
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times.
- Respond to any emergency situations and/or special requests as needed.
- Serve as and perform other duties based on hotel needs from time to time.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive and upbeat attitude.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to perform and maintain high levels of physical activity for the duration of the shift.
