    JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

    The Loan Specialist I is responsible for processing consumer and commercial loan requests while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This position coordinates with lenders and lender assistants to ensure files are processing timely and prepares loan-related reports. The Loan Specialist plays a key role in maintaining efficient loan operations and ensuring the integrity of loan documentation.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Process consumer and commercial loan files ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
    • Prepare and process adverse actions and withdrawal packages for consumer, commercial, and mortgage loan requests
    • Assist with audits, examinations, and quality control reviews by providing requested documentation
    • Creation/completion of various loan reports
    • Communicating with Lenders via email/phone in a timely manner
    • Any other duties as assigned by Management.
