Job Title: Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $48,000-52,000 (annually) with an employee benefits package.

General Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to support post-closing mortgage servicing operations, with a primary focus on facilitating the transfer of mortgage servicing and ensuring loans are accurately prepared and documented. The role includes borrower support by phone and email, loan boarding, payment and payoff processing, investor file uploads and data transfers, purchase-related edits, wires, and servicing transactions. As experience grows, the position will take on additional accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and loan-level financial responsibilities. Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience preferred, ideally in mortgage, banking, financial services, or customer service; 2+ years is ideal.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with borrowers by phone and email; this is not a call-center-heavy role.
  • Mortgage servicing, loan processing, loan closing, banking, bank teller, or other financial transaction experience with strong attention to detail is highly transferable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to accurately prepare loan documentation, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities; interest and ability to grow into accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and loan-level financial work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
