Linden Management is growing, and we are looking to add a Loan Servicing Representative to our Loan Servicing Team. The Loan Servicing Representative supports the ongoing credit servicing administration for all loans and maintains the borrower relationship to sustain a positive customer experience. This person must have a strong work ethic and be a responsible, driven, and detailed oriented individual. This person will work with confidential information and must maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.The Loan Servicing Rep will be responsible for servicing loans for clients of Linden Management. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Loan collection calls and assist with calling customers that have past due accounts.
- Ensuring all documents are properly prepared and filed.
- Maintaining client files.
- Assist borrowers with processing loan payments.
- Sending out monthly statements.
- Review and process Loan Cover sheets on assigned days and as needed by the Loan Servicing Manager.
- Submit approved copies back to Financial Aid Officers.
- Submit number of calls made at the end of the day to the Loan Servicing Manager.
- Keep office and desk clean and organized, as well as loan and sensitive information filed securely.
- Other tasks assigned by the Loan Servicing Manager, as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate well with others with exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Previous lending and/or loan servicing/collections experience is a plus
- A general knowledge of lending terminology
- Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications
- Enjoy working with the public and in a team environment
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to accomplish daily tasks
- Good attendance and work ethic, being present and prompt on all scheduled workdays
- A pleasant, positive attitude every day, outgoing personality, and higher than average energy level
- Stable work history
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalency; Degree preferred, but not required
- Previous finance/credit and collections experience is preferred but not required
- Previous work experience with the public is preferred but not required
- Computer experience is required, with good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
