    Description

    The Senior Loan Review Analyst will perform regular loan portfolio reviews based on risk and size of credit types. Ensures the creditworthiness of the loan portfolio by reviewing the quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis. In addition, reviews loan policy for adequacy, assesses problem loan management/workout plan effectiveness, and provides assistance and consultation to loan officers and other lending personnel. Prepares detailed executive summaries of each review with supporting analysis. The incumbent will also seek out continuous improvement to related bank processes and be responsible for mentoring/training of other lower level loan review analysts.

    • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
    • 5 to 7 years of related experience
    • Previous regulatory, financial analysis and credit review experience required
    • Ability to create sophisticated reports for upper-level managementExcellent PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and work within time constraints
    • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
    • Ability to provide guidance to other members of the loan review team

    • Performs complex regular loan portfolio reviews based on risk and/or size of all credit types (commercial, consumer, residential, equipment, Small Business Administration, mortgage, HELOC, participations, etc.)
    • Ensures the creditworthiness of the loan portfolio, looking for changes that merit a review of lending practices and/or adverse asset classification.
    • Reviews bank processes (loan approvals, policy exemption reporting, supervisory loan to value limits, underwriting, covenants, internal controls, concentration reporting, ALLL methodology, etc.)
    • Verifies quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis
    • Reviews loan policy for adequacy
    • Assesses problem loan management / workout plan effectiveness
    • Provides assistance and consultation to loan officers, other lending personnel (loan administration, lending assistants, etc.), auditors and regulatory examiners.
    • Prepares an executive summary of each review and supporting analysis
    • Participates in special lending-related projects as directed
    • Responsible for mentoring/training of lower level loan review analysts (generally levels I and II)
    • Review the quality and quantity of the work flow of lower level loan review analysts, provide guidance to those analyst, and/or escalate to loan review manager as needed.
    • Responsible for creating a review schedule on a quarterly basis based on risk and/or size of credit.
    • Performs additional job related duties as assigned or required
