Key Responsibilities:
- Manage repurchases flagged for compliance violations and ensure timely resolution and recovery
- Investigate loan files, appeal repurchases, negotiate recovery and settlements
- Analyze seller's performance. Determine root cause and remediation standards required by HUD, Fannie Mae and VA
- Collaborate with legal, underwriting, sales team, Controller
- Provide weekly status reports with recommendations to senior management
- Develop actionable recommendations to prevent future loan defects and losses
- Collaborate in monthly meetings providing metrics and recovery amounts
- Manage and enforce compliance standards and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
