Loan Officer / Sales Professional - Construction & Investor Lending

Our client is seeking an experienced Loan Officer / Sales Professional with strong expertise in Ground-Up Construction, Light & Heavy Rehab, Bridge, and DSCR business-purpose loans. This role is ideal for a producer who understands builders, project budgets, and construction workflows and who excels at originating loans in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate business-purpose construction and investment loans for builders, developers, and real estate investors
• Develop and manage a pipeline of Ground-Up Construction, Rehab, Bridge, and DSCR opportunities
• Review construction plans, specs, budgets, and schedules to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with underwriting

• Advise builders and investors on loan structures, draw processes, and project financing strategies
• Build and expand referral networks including builders, contractors, developers, mortgage brokers, and real estate professionals

• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and draw management teams to ensure smooth loan processing and exceptional client experience
• Maintain CRM accuracy and track all sales activity, pipeline status, and borrower communication
• Represent company at industry events, builder meetings, and market outreach initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction lending, investor lending, or related real estate finance
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specs, budgets, and project timelines
  • Proven track record of loan origination or B2B sales success
  • Ability to analyze project feasibility and communicate financing solutions clearly
  • Comfort working with builders, contractors, mortgage brokers, and investors
• High level of professionalism, communication, and follow-through

Preferred Experience

• Background in private lending, hard money, or construction finance
• Familiarity with draw schedules, inspections, and project monitoring
  • Existing builder, investor, or mortgage broker network
