    Position Summary:
    We're looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our team at our Chillicothe location. As a key member of our lending team, you'll help individuals and small businesses in our community access the financing they need to grow and thrive. From first-time homebuyers to local entrepreneurs, you'll be a trusted advisor throughout the loan process—building relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and offering tailored solutions.
     
    What You'll Do:
    • Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses.
    • Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and offer the right lending products.
    • Guide customers through the loan process from application to closing.
    • Analyze financial data, credit reports, and collateral to assess risk and determine appropriate loan terms.
    • Maintain knowledge of loan regulations and internal policies to ensure compliance.
    • Work collaboratively with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to deliver timely service.
    • Participate in community outreach and business development activities to grow the bank's presence.
     
    What You'll Bring:
    • Prior experience in banking, lending, or financial services preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of consumer or commercial loan products (or both).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to build rapport with customers and deliver exceptional service.
    • Familiarity with loan software and Microsoft Office Suite.
