Job Description:
Approves consumer and home equity line of credit loan applications within Board parameters. Reviews and analyzes loan applications and credit documents. Interviews applicants and explains the review process, providing recommendations. Discusses financing aspects like rates, terms, and repayment. Provides information on loan products, services, and insurances. Ensures quick processing of member loan requests and disburses loans per policy guidelines. Manages daily department operations efficiently, fostering a productive environment through effective staff communication. Achieves departmental goals within timelines and sets performance measures to protect the Credit Union's loan portfolio. Assists lending and collection staff with daily tasks and training. Helps establish or revise loan policies, programs, products, and procedures to meet member and organizational goals. Ensures compliance with internal, external, and statutory requirements for loan documents and practices. Manages safe storage and record-keeping of loan files, audits documents, and facilitates corrections. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to organize, balance figures, compute totals, verify calculations, and use analysis skills to assess and arrive at an appropriate and justifiable underwriting decision [Required]

Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA, Anti-Money Laundering (AML Compliance and other regulations and laws related to the position. [Required]
