Position Highlights for the Loan Doc Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Administration Documentation Specialist to support the ongoing administration of a lending portfolio. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant loan documentation, tracking insurance and collateral requirements, and providing responsive service to borrowers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate has experience in banking, financial services, loan administration, or a detail-oriented administrative environment and is comfortable reviewing documentation, maintaining records, and communicating with customers.
Responsibilities for the Loan Doc Specialist include:
- Review completed loan files for accuracy, required signatures, completeness, and compliance with lending guidelines
- Maintain loan, collateral, insurance, and supporting documentation within servicing and tracking systems
- Monitor documentation exceptions, maturity dates, renewals, insurance requirements, and other outstanding items
- Process payoff requests, collateral releases, monthly billing, invoicing, and related loan administration activities
- Generate reports related to documentation status, insurance tracking, exceptions, and portfolio activity
- Assist borrowers with loan balances, payoffs, payments, ACH inquiries, modifications, maturity dates, and other servicing questions
