Loader Machine Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring! We are seeking dependable and motivated Loader Machine Operators to join our client's clean, team-oriented food manufacturing facility in Williamsport, PA.

Pay & Shift:

• Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Day Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Training: Initial training will be on 1st shift; must be flexible to move to 2nd or 3rd shift based on business needs.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the automated robotic loading system, conveyors, sensors, and related equipment.
• Respond to equipment alarms and stoppages and perform basic resets and troubleshooting.
• Identify mechanical or system issues and communicate problems to maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Remove broken eggs, debris, and buildup that may affect equipment performance.
• Work with production staff to maintain a steady product supply.
• Follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, PPE, and safety requirements, including HACCP, FDA, SQF, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete production records, logs, and required documentation.
• Assist with training employees on proper equipment operation.
• Help maintain equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing, food production, or packaging preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and identify equipment, quality, and safety concerns.
• Basic math and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds with assistance or approved equipment.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery in a potentially noisy, wet, or temperature-changing environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
