Load Builder/Forklift Operator

Location: Meridian, ID Yard

In this role, youll play a critical part in ensuring customers receive the right materials safely and on time. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that values safety and excellence, wed love to hear from you.

What Youll Do

• Assemble and prepare customer orders for delivery and pick-up.
• Safely load and unload building materials onto trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles.
• Build balanced, secure loads to ensure safe transportation to job sites.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move products throughout the yard.
• Verify materials against work orders and customer requests to ensure accuracy.
• Label, organize, and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional service for customers.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move building materials throughout the workday.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions and warehouse environments.

In addition to the base wage listed, team members are also eligible to earn an additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law.
