LMS Technical Support Specialist

Schedule:

Full-time technical support should be available throughout active academic sessions. Coverage must support students and instructors during online instructional periods, including evening classes.

Summary:

The LMS Technical Support Specialist will maintain reliable student and instructor access to the online learning environment and resolve technology problems that could interfere with instruction.

Requirements:

• Must have experience supporting Learning Management Systems or online learning platforms.
• Must be capable of troubleshooting account, access, and course-delivery issues.
• Must understand online course and user-account administration.
• Must comply with applicable information-security and privacy requirements.

Duties:

• Maintain student and instructor access to the LMS.
• Troubleshoot technical problems affecting online instruction.
• Verify courses and instructional materials are accessible before sessions begin.
• Track and escalate unresolved technical issues when necessary.
