Description:
Key Responsibilities
Assess current labor planning and workforce management processes.
Design labor forecasting models based on:
o Historical volumes
o Demand patterns
o Seasonality
o Customer service requirements
o Operational constraints
Develop dynamic labor planning methodologies for:
o Distribution Centers (DCs)
o Warehousing operations
o Transportation operations
o Shared service organizations
Define labor standards and productivity baselines.
Establish workforce capacity planning processes.
Support labor budgeting and staffing recommendations.
Create demand-to-capacity planning frameworks.
Develop labor planning governance and operating models.
Partner with operations leaders to validate forecasting assumptions and productivity targets.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience with labor management solutions such as:
o Blue Yonder Labor Management
o Manhattan Labor Management
Strong understanding of:
o Labor standards
o Engineered labor standards
o Workforce optimization
o Demand forecasting
Experience in logistics, distribution, warehouse, or retail operations.
Strong analytical and process design skills.
Executive stakeholder management experience.
