LLM / AI Engineer
Seeking a Senior LLM/AI Engineer to build and deploy production-grade GenAI capabilities within large-scale applications. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Python, LLM systems, RAG, agents, MCP, and AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered features from concept through production
Develop backend services and REST APIs using Python/FastAPI
Build RAG, agentic, and multi-agent solutions
Develop, deploy, and secure MCP servers and integrations
Evaluate and integrate LLMs including OpenAI and Anthropic
Use AI coding tools and autonomous agents to accelerate development and automate engineering workflows
Own solutions end to end, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimization
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions
Required Skills
8+ years of Python/API development experience
2+ years of hands-on LLM/GenAI engineering experience
Strong Python and FastAPI/REST API development
Production experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs
RAG: vector databases, semantic search, retrieval, embeddings, and chunking strategies
Agentic AI and multi-agent systems
MCP server development, deployment, and security
Daily experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or autonomous coding agents
Experience deploying GenAI solutions to production at scale
Event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and server-sent events
Strong backend security, authentication, and data protection knowledge
Nice to Have
LangChain or LlamaIndex
LLM evaluation frameworks, regression testing, LLM-as-judge, and quality metrics
LLM monitoring, observability, and guardrails
Experience building AI/ML capabilities within large, business-critical applications
