    Essential Functions

    Pay Range: $70,304.00 - $83,200.00 per year

    • Direct the pickup and transportation of chicken from ranch to processing plants.
    • Make decisions on how many birds per crew will be picked up.
    • Check on crews while at the ranches and assuring all is going as scheduled and correct any problems necessary.
    • Establish and enforce company and department safety, animal welfare, biosecurity and production standards.
    • Provide necessary training for all employees including new hires.
    • Supervise the training of truck and forklift drivers.

    Qualifications

    • Have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
    • Knowledge of poultry transportation preferred but not required.
    • Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment. 
    • Ability to work in extreme cold/hot, dusty environment.
    • Must have ability to acquire a class A  Commercial Driver's License.
    • Must have and maintain an acceptable DMV driving record.
    • Ability to follow and enforce all company rules, policies and procedures.
    • Ability to work various shifts including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays. 
    • Ability to meet production standards and deadlines.
