We are looking for a Home Health Aide/CNA to join our team! True Comfort Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive caregiver to join our team for a live-in care position in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The caregiver will provide personalized, one-on-one assistance to an elderly client in the client's home, following an individualized care plan and helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor 
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 
• Remind patient to take medication
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities  

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program
• High School Diploma or GED 
• Two year prior professional experience 
• Driver’s license required 
• CPR certification required
