Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Support Specialist to join a highly regarded civil litigation practice in Atlanta. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who enjoys being an integral part of the litigation process and providing comprehensive support to attorneys handling complex matters through all phases of litigation.

What You'll Do

  • Support attorneys throughout all stages of civil litigation

  • Manage and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery, and litigation documents

  • Draft, format, and revise correspondence, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

  • Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court appearances, and travel arrangements

  • Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts

  • Assist with discovery, document production, and case organization

  • Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

  • Track case deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments

  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors

  • Provide hands-on support during trial preparation and litigation events as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a litigation support, legal assistant, or paralegal role

  • Civil litigation experience is required

  • Experience managing cases from inception through resolution

  • Real estate litigation and/or construction litigation experience highly preferred

  • Trial preparation experience preferred

  • Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience with NetDocuments, Centerbase, or similar legal software platforms is a plus

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic filing systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday through Friday

  • Standard business hours with flexibility for occasional overtime when case demands require

  • Onsite during onboarding and training

  • Hybrid schedule available after successful training and integration with the team
