An exceptional law firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support a busy insurance defense practice. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Job Duties
E-file documents in California state and federal courts and manage new case setups
Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and keep attorneys on schedule
Draft, proofread, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
Manage high-volume email communication and file documents in iManage
Schedule court calls, hearings, and meetings
Provide administrative support to 3-4 attorneys concurrently
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation secretary in California
Proficiency with state and federal e-filing systems
Strong calendaring, organizational, and multitasking skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
Additional Details
Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience
