Our agency is recruiting senior litigators for a national law firm with distinct opportunities in New York and Dallas. The New York practice focuses on litigation and insurance coverage; Dallas focuses on hospitality, premises and general liability, commercial disputes, and related insurance defense.

Base pay depends on experience, location, and job-related qualifications. Bonus eligibility and benefits are subject to the employer’s applicable plans.

Base compensation: New York: $210,000–$275,000. Dallas compensation to be discussed.

Work arrangement: Hybrid in both locations.

Job Details

What you will do
Lead litigation strategy and handle court appearances, depositions, and substantive motion practice.
Provide responsive advice, case assessments, and updates to clients.
New York: draft coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and disclaimers.
Dallas: handle defense matters involving hotels or managed properties, premises liability, commercial disputes, and related insurance matters.
Dallas: supervise attorneys and bring trial and arbitration experience to active matters.

What you bring
Active admission in the state of the selected office.
New York: 7+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience; JD with strong academic credentials.
Dallas: 8+ years of relevant defense litigation experience, trial and arbitration experience, and demonstrated attorney supervision.
Dallas: ability to attend meetings and court appearances in Texas.
Strong research, writing, judgment, communication, and case management skills.
Portable business is welcome but is not required for Dallas. New York book expectations will be discussed during the recruiting process.
