Key Responsibilities
- Manage active litigation caseloads from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and correspondence
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination
- Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines across NJ and NY matters
- Communicate regularly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (civil required; criminal a plus)
- Demonstrated experience in personal injury litigation (required)
- Working knowledge of immigration and/or family law procedures
- Familiarity with New Jersey and New York court rules and filing systems (eCourts, NYSCEF)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or associate degree
- Experience in a multi-practice law firm environment
