Litigation Paralegal - South Bay (Near LAX)

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a respected and well-established law firm located in the South Bay, near LAX, to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its collaborative and supportive team. This firm is renowned for its strong culture, meaningful work, and commitment to providing excellent service to its public sector clients.

This position will support attorneys handling labor, employment, and education law matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda; draft, review, and cite-check pleadings, discovery, and witness declarations.
  • Discovery & Case Management: Manage all aspects of discovery, including document production, organizing case files, and preparing deposition and transcript summaries.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist with trial preparation by compiling trial notebooks, organizing exhibits, coordinating with expert witnesses, and managing trial logistics.
  • Case & Administrative Support: Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel; track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and administrative procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally within civil litigation or employment law.
  • Education: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document management systems and e-filing platforms (state and federal courts).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities with excellent attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Billable Requirement

  • 1,500 hours annually

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 (DOE)

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
