Qualifications/Characteristics:
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a paralegal in a litigation department of a law firm. No prior experience in wage and hour is required.
· Demonstrated experience managing core paralegal functions and key responsibilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook365)
· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
· Possess a high level of discretion, professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
· Excellent time management skills along with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: We pay highly competitive rates for this position. Base compensation is hourly plus overtime. Pay is commensurate with experience. Paralegals are eligible for annual bonuses, signing bonuses, referral bonuses, and cost of living adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
· On a day-to-day basis, paralegal will work primarily under the direction of an assigned group of attorneys who manage the firm’s wage and hour dockets.
· Handle multiple cases in federal court, state court and arbitration (AAA or JAMS).
· Assist in all aspects of the litigation process, including providing support for attorneys in the discovery process, motion practice, as well as hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations.
· Ensure all ECF’s (Electronic Filings) from Federal Court and State Court are being reviewed and calendared pursuant to Federal Rules, Local Rules, and or Judge’s Rules
· Prepare legal documents including form pleadings, discovery, motions, pre-trial motions, settlements, and client correspondence.
· Compile deposition and trial notebooks, client interviews, pleadings, motions, pre-trial motions.
· Manage all discovery phases, including answers and responses to interrogatories, production, disclosures, requests for admissions, subpoenas and depositions.
· Provide assistance to other paralegals within assigned teams whenever necessary to meet firm and client needs.
· Organize and prioritize attorney and legal assistant workload as to most efficiently enable and facilitate team effort to accomplish case and attorney goals.
