LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected and established Florida law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, from case intake through trial, while handling substantive legal work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Partner with attorneys on active litigation matters and assist with case strategy, organization, and file management.
Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and related correspondence.
Conduct legal and factual research and provide concise summaries and analysis to support case development.
Manage all stages of discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
Coordinate and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility throughout the life of a matter.
Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, hearing, and trial preparation, including exhibit and witness organization.
Coordinate logistics for trials and proceedings, working with vendors, clients, courts, and other parties as needed.
Support attorneys with e-filing and court submissions in state and federal courts.
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent combination of education and significant litigation experience.
Proven experience supporting litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Strong working knowledge of Florida court procedures, federal court practices, and electronic filing systems.
Experience handling discovery, document management, and litigation support databases.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Flexibility to work additional hours and travel when case demands require.
