Litigation Paralegal

Position Summary

Hospitality Professional Services (HPS) is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support the legal teams across the Ashford Group of Companies (AGC), including Remington Hospitality, Ashford Hospitality Trust, Ashford Inc., and affiliated entities. This role manages a high-volume, multi-entity litigation caseload - tracking matters from filing through resolution, coordinating discovery, and keeping legal and business leadership informed - while serving as the central point of contact between outside counsel, insurers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Track status and updates for all litigation matters, maintaining a current, accurate litigation log for the legal team and business leadership, including aggregating status reports from outside counsel
• Maintain the litigation calendar, tracking response deadlines, mediation dates, and trial dates
• Assist attorneys with discovery requests, including document collection, review, and production
• Route service of process to the appropriate internal stakeholders, insurers, and outside counsel
• Issue, track, and release legal holds
• Notify business leadership of new employment litigation matters
• Collect discovery records and respond to subpoenas
• Review outside counsel invoices against budgets and verify accurate billing allocation across properties and entities
• Prepare settlement summaries for review by legal and business leadership
• Maintain litigation procedures and forms
• Provide general administrative support to the legal department
