Litigation Paralegal (3+ Years) – Hybrid, El Segundo / South Bay, CA

A growing boutique law firm in the South Bay that focuses on business, real estate, and estate planning is adding a Litigation Paralegal to its team. The firm is collaborative and team-based, has served the Los Angeles and South Bay community for years, and works hard to make the office a great place to be. Each paralegal supports just two attorneys, and the support staff is strong.

What you'll do

• Manage the calendars for at least two attorneys.
• Handle document prep, create shells, and prepare pleadings.
• Prepare and coordinate depositions.
• Prepare initial discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• E-file and prepare documents for court filing.
• Proofread and cite-check legal documents.
• Do basic legal and fact research, and talk with clients.

What we're looking for

• At least three years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Strong calendaring, document prep, shell, pleading, and deposition experience.
• Comfort with a billable requirement of 90 to 110 hours.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A paralegal certificate is required.
