Litigation Legal Assistant (Commercial Litigation & Labor & Employment)

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) 4 days on-site, 1 work from home

Compensation: $65,000- $90,000 annually (flexible based on experience)

LHH is working with a well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support its Commercial/Business Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case inception, discovery, and trial
  • Manage complex litigation dockets; track deadlines and ensure timely filings, hearings, and motion confirmations
  • Prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Coordinate discovery, including document production and organization
  • Assist with preparation for mediation, settlement conferences, dispositive motions, and trial
  • Organize materials for hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of litigation legal assistant/secretary experience
  • Required: Strong experience in commercial/business litigation and/or labor & employment (other litigation backgrounds will not be considered)
  • Experience managing complex dockets and multiple active cases
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with document management systems (NetDocs preferred, but not required)

Schedule

  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
  • Remote flexibility available after an initial 6-8 week onboarding/training period

Compensation & Benefits
