Location

San Francisco, CA | Hybrid Opportunity: This full-time position begins on-site for the first 90 days, with a hybrid schedule available after successful training. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We're seeking candidates with 3+ years of litigation legal assistant or legal secretary experience, including court calendaring and state and federal e-filing. Candidates must be able to work on-site in San Francisco during the initial training period. Civil litigation experience is required

Job Description

• Support three attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, helping keep cases organized and moving forward.
• Manage court deadlines, litigation calendars, filings, and attorney schedules with accuracy and confidence.
• Prepare, format, proofread, and electronically file legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Create tables of authorities, organize exhibits, prepare redactions, and manage Bates stamping.
• Research court rules and procedures to ensure accurate calendaring and compliance.
• Coordinate travel, expense reports, time entries, and other administrative needs.
• Collaborate with attorneys and colleagues to deliver outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Litigation Legal Secretary.
• Experience with state and federal court e-filing and litigation calendaring.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing deadlines, and legal document preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, proofreading, and multitasking skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Labor and employment litigation experience and familiarity with eDockets, Milana, or Compulaw are a plus.
