Our client, an established law firm in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant Lead to join its litigation support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced litigation legal assistant or senior legal secretary who is ready to take the next step into a leadership and mentorship role while remaining actively involved in litigation support.
The position combines hands-on litigation support—including calendaring and docketing, e-filing, document preparation, and trial support—with responsibility for helping oversee daily workflow, training and mentoring team members, and serving as a resource for complex filing and calendaring matters.
This role may be particularly attractive to a Senior Litigation Legal Assistant, Senior Litigation Secretary, Litigation Practice Assistant, or experienced litigation support professional who has become a go-to resource within their current firm and is ready for increased responsibility.
You do not need to currently hold a formal Lead title. Candidates who have demonstrated leadership through mentoring, training, workflow coordination, or serving as a resource to other legal support professionals are encouraged to apply.
The anticipated salary range is $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, FSA/HSA options, 401(k) with firm contribution, paid time off, paid holidays, parental leave, an employee assistance program, and paid parking.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Some after-hours or weekend overtime may occasionally be required.
