A Dallas law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. This role will support up to five busy attorneys in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys in a high-volume practice

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence

  • Coordinate and file documents in state and federal courts (e-filing)

  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case files

  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and court filings

  • Create and format documents using Styles, Tables of Contents, and Tables of Authorities

  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a mid-sized or large law firm

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with state and federal e-filing

  • Strong document formatting skills including Styles, Table of Contents, and Table of Authorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong proofreading, organizational, and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability for overtime as needed
