A reputable law firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Manage e-filing in state and federal courts (including Georgia courts)
Maintain case files, both electronic and physical
Coordinate calendars, deadlines, court dates, and depositions
Assist with discovery, including document production and organization
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally
Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and assist with trial preparation
Track billable time and assist with expense reporting as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience required
Strong knowledge of Georgia court rules and filing procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., iManage, Relativity, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail
Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a mid-to-large firm setting
Trial preparation experience highly desired
Work Environment:
Fully onsite role in Atlanta, GA
Collaborative team environment with growth potential
Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 DOE
Schedule: Full-time, onsite (5 days/week)
