The role carries an active litigation file load in a fast-paced legal environment, with significant courtroom work — both in person and by Zoom — several times a week. The practice centers on foreclosure litigation, mortgage default, and bankruptcy matters, and our client will consider strong candidates coming from general civil litigation or real estate backgrounds.
This is a hybrid position: three days per week in the Farmington Hills office and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active litigation file load from filing through resolution.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, orders, and other legal documents for filing.

  • Work closely with the litigation supervisor and support staff to keep matters moving on schedule.
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Proficiency with Lexis, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and general comfort with office software and legal technology.

  • Real estate litigation or transactions.
  • General civil litigation, with an interest in moving into a default and foreclosure practice.
