We are listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers, and we handle matters from inception through trial and appeal across automobile, labor law, premises, municipal, professional liability, and medical malpractice defense.

Job Details

Work hybrid remote.

• Manage a caseload of defense matters from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
• Appear at conferences, motion arguments, and trials in state courts
• Report to carrier and self-insured clients on case evaluation, strategy, and resolution

Required:

• NY Bar Admission
• Recent defense litigation experience

You should know some of the following:

• New York Labor Law (Sections 200, 240, 241)
• Medical and hospital malpractice
• Construction accidents
• Automobile/motor vehicle liability
• General liability
• Premises liability
• Municipal liability
• Professional liability
• Insurance coverage
