We are seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of litigation processes, insurance defense, insurance coverage opinion, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their legal expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Litigation Associate, you will be tasked with a wide array of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
2. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
3. Advising clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
4. Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
5. Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
6. Gathering evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
7. Specializing in insurance defense and providing coverage opinions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the position of Permanent Litigation Associate, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in litigation, with a particular focus on insurance defense.
3. Proficient in drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documents.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively and persuasively present information to clients and other key stakeholders.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
7. Admitted to practice and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state.
