Litigation Associate

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of hands-on experience managing litigation matters and will be comfortable handling a broad range of responsibilities throughout the litigation lifecycle.

HumanHire is partnered with a top Law Firm to find a Litigation Associate to join the firms growing team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of hands-on experience managing litigation matters and will be comfortable handling a broad range of responsibilities throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and assist with a variety of civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis regarding substantive and procedural issues.
• Develop case strategies and assist with preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Handle all phases of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and other relevant individuals, as appropriate.
• Prepare for and participate in court appearances, hearings, conferences, mediations, and depositions.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Litigation Attorney experience
• Civil Litigation Defense experience
• Active CA Bar Admission
