    Litigation Associate

    Locations

    • Charlotte, NC

    • Raleigh, NC

    Compensation & Bonus

    • Base Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
    • Annual Bonus: $5,000 – $20,000 after 1,800 billable hours

    Position Overview

    A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to handle complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks strong career growth opportunities while working on sophisticated litigation matters.

    Practice Areas

    Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:

    • Commercial Real Estate
    • Construction Litigation
    • Property Liability
    • Employment Law
    • Mass Tort Defense

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
    • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
    • Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
    • Support case strategy and overall litigation management
    • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel
    • Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met

    Qualifications

    • An active North Carolina Bar license is required
    • 2–6 years of litigation experience preferred
    • Candidates with 1+ years of relevant litigation experience will also be considered
    • Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
    • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
    • Experience in the listed practice areas strongly preferred

    Additional Information

    • Candidates with primary experience in Trust & Estates or Family Law will not be considered
