Litigation Associate - Los Angeles

HumanHire is partnered with a top national Mid-Size Firm to find a Litigation Associate to join their growing team in Los Angeles.

HumanHire is partnered with a top national Mid-Size Firm to find a Litigation Associate to join their growing team in Los Angeles. The Associate will be focused in Civil Litigation Defense work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct and defend depositions, including party, witness, and expert depositions
• Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Analyze medical, scientific, and technical records related to toxic exposure claims
• Collaborate with clients, experts, insurers, and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and motion practice

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Litigation Attorney experience
• Defense experience required (Civil Litigation preferred)
• Active California Bar Admission
