    Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

    Job Description

    • Defend healthcare providers and related clients in medical malpractice and healthcare litigation matters
    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case strategy materials
    • Take and defend depositions and help prepare witnesses and experts
    • Support hearings, mediations, and trial preparation in state and federal courts
    • Communicate with clients, carriers, and co counsel in a professional, responsive way
    • Manage deadlines and case details with strong organization and follow through

    Qualifications

    • JD required
    • Admitted in Virginia (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
    • 1+ year of medical malpractice experience (plaintiff or defense)
    • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
    • Confident communicator with solid client service instincts
