Job Description
- Defend healthcare providers and related clients in medical malpractice and healthcare litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case strategy materials
- Take and defend depositions and help prepare witnesses and experts
- Support hearings, mediations, and trial preparation in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and co counsel in a professional, responsive way
- Manage deadlines and case details with strong organization and follow through
Qualifications
- JD required
- Admitted in Virginia (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
- 1+ year of medical malpractice experience (plaintiff or defense)
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with solid client service instincts
