Litigation Associate Attorney Pittsburgh, PA | Full-Time |         

A dynamic and growing Litigation Practice Group is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney (3–6 years’ experience) to join its Pittsburgh office. This is an opportunity to work across a broad and diverse litigation portfolio, including commercial disputes, employment litigation, municipal matters, toxic tort defense, personal injury defense, and complex insurance coverage litigation.

This role offers strong mentorship, collaboration, and the chance to work closely with experienced litigators on high-impact matters for sophisticated clients across multiple industries.


What You’ll Do:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit counseling through trial
• Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and develop case strategy
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, position statements, and dispositive motions
• Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, and courtroom proceedings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues and policy implications
• Counsel clients on risk management and litigation avoidance strategies
• Interview clients, witnesses, and experts in preparation for litigation
• Develop case strategy and recommend legal positions aligned with client goals
• Handle insurance coverage disputes and complex commercial litigation matters
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on case strategy and client service
• Participate in CLEs, firm initiatives, publications, and professional development activities


What We’re Looking For:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission in good standing
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3–6 years of litigation experience required
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and case management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
• Client-focused mindset with a proactive and strategic approach to litigation
