Key Responsibilities
Provide litigation support to attorneys at all stages of case management
Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
E‑file documents in California state, federal, and appellate courts
Maintain confidential files, records, legal documents, and reports
Process client intake and conflict checks
Manage time entry and assist with client billing
Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines
Coordinate travel, meetings, appointments, and conferences
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Who You Are
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Minimum 8 years of civil and labor & employment litigation experience
California litigation experience required
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional
Strong experience with electronic document management systems
Exceptional knowledge of California and Federal court filing rules, procedures, e‑filing, and litigation calendaring
Highly organized with strong leadership, communication, and client service skills
Excellent writing, proofreading, and attention to detail
Positive attitude, proactive mindset, flexible, and a true team player
Compensation
The salary range for this position for individuals physically located in San Diego is $85,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience, education, skills, and job‑related factors. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours worked.
