For more information about Frontdoor, Inc., please visit frontdoorhome.com Responsibilities Summary : Frontdoor seeks a talented and self-motivated Litigation and Employment Specialist to support the Litigation and Employment Teams. This position will provide broad administrative and strategic support throughout the lifecycle of the Company's arbitration and litigation matters, consumer disputes, employment and worker's compensation matters, garnishment requests, and employment subpoenas. This role requires the possession of strong organizational and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a business-oriented and collaborative approach to problem-solving and will value working with various business teams in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment. Responsibilities: + Providing high quality and timely support to Litigation Team members and other business partners on litigation and arbitration disputes related to our home warranty business and related businesses and employment litigation. + Assisting the Litigation Team and broader Legal Team on a variety of litigation and arbitration matters through all phases, including through matter intake, development of litigation strategy, outside counsel management, and matter resolution. + Maintaining case files and records, and monitoring case calendars and dockets with attention to detail and limited supervision. + Managing document and data collection and related discovery projects for a variety of litigation and arbitration matters. + Researching, coordinating document productions, and preparing written responses to employment subpoenas. + Investigating consumer disputes and analyzing relevant information to prepare case analyses. + Providing high quality and timely support to Employment Team members and other business partners on employment and worker's compensation matters + Willingness to support as needed a range of legal projects and matters beyond litigation focus areas, including commercial litigation, employment, contracts, marketing, regulatory, corporate governance and legal operations in support of the Company's strategic priorities and legal objectives. + Contributing to the Legal Team by working collaboratively with team members, meeting timely deadlines and actively supporting team priorities. + Willingness to handle other projects and matters as may be assigned from time to time. + May assume other duties as applied. Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: High school diploma or GED required, paralegal degree preferred Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) : 5+ years of legal or customer relations experience required Travel: 1-2 times a year Other/State Specific Compensation: This role pays a base salary between $25 - $28 per hour, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
