LOCAL CANDIDATES
The team is seeking a storage specialist whose role will focus on initiatives to enhance the banks backup and recovery capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have enterprise-scale infrastructure engineering experience and the ability to collaborate with other engineers across global organizations to deliver on complex projects.
Required skills:
-Experience with at least one commercial backup product-Good understanding of data deduplication technology-Good understanding of WORM technologies
-Excellent programming skills in at least one scripting language, preferably Python-Good understanding of networking, including troubleshooting, performance and tuning
-Excellent ability to debug complex and novel issues, understanding the need to go beyond the documentation provided with a product
-Experience of running Proof of Concept projects
-Excellent analytical skills, capable of fast decision-making using sound judgment, and not afraid to explore new ideas
-Good understanding of the Linux operating system, particularly in debugging performance issues-Experience in designing and running benchmark tests
