    We are looking for a Linux Admin SME/L3 to join our team and provide support for UNIX and Linux systems working in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure, as well as collaborating with other teams and developing automation strategies and deployment processes. You will also be expected to share your knowledge and expertise with other Linux administrators and engineers.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Install, configure and maintain infrastructure components in a virtualized Linux environment
    • Plan and deploy migration of applications from Solaris to Linux
    • Fully manage the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers
    • Knowledge of Data Storage Technologies such as NAS or SAN
    • Provide direct mission support in a classified and unclassified Linux desktop and server environment
    • Within this role the individual will architect, install, configure and optimize computing systems and networks in a Linux based environment
    • Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux and Windows servers
    • Troubleshoot and resolve failed processes on DASD, Hadoop, Isilon, Linux, SQL Server, & Windows
    • Write and troubleshoot Windows and Linux Shell Scripts
    • Background in SaaS infrastructure and service development, ideally across a wide range of software, operational and networking aspects

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
    • In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
    • Hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB
    • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
    • Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
    • Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
    • Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage
    • Strong problem solving and communication skills
