Linux Infrastructure / Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:Support NSWC Carderock by maintaining their Linux infrastructure. Ensure combat readiness through the cutting edge application of technology.Responsibilities:

•           Install/configure Linux server Write and update custom kickstart image
•             Patch management (full life cycle, Satellite server) 
•             Support application deployments / Enterprise Automation (AAP, Satellite, IDM, Splunk)   
•             Security hardening, STIG remediation, Compliance frameworks (RMF, DISA STIGs) Root cause analysis of complex outages  
•             Forensics & log correlation 
•             Kernel-level troubleshooting  
•             Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)  
•             CI/CD pipeline integration  
•             Architecture documentation Storage engineering (SAN/NAS, multipathing) 
•             Infrastructure Design and Hardening Design HA and clustering solutions   
•             Work with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)Qualifications:Advanced scripting & troubleshooting (ansible playbooks, bash, python)OS Certification: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)8+ years working in Linux AdministrationStrong Networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, DNS)  
• Strong CLI proficiencyDesired:3+ years working with AnsibleAdvanced scripting in perl-
