Job Title: EVS/Laundry Aide
Shift/Schedule: Onsite; 5X8, weekends required. Flexibility in shifts (possible shifts listed below). Schedule will be announced weekly. Position will require floating between laundry and EVS services depending on unit needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 + years of experience in EVS and Laundry services
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 Professional Reference within 2 years of start
JOB DUTIES:
Keeps assigned areas clean and orderly empties wastebaskets and trash; replenishes supplies. Performs stat cleaning when
necessary. Cleans patient rooms to ensure that rooms and treatment areas are properly cleaned and prepared for
new patients. Cleans and straightens pantries on nursing units. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment used in
performance of job.
Routinely inspects rooms and unit to identify and correct basic maintenance problems. Checks and notifies appropriate personnel
of such problems.
Replenishes supplies in patient rooms and public restrooms.
Prior to beginning tasks, establish a rapport with patients/customers by providing a brief description of the clean process asking for
key focal point that may be of particular interest to the patient/family.
Builds effective relationships across work groups by treating fellow employees with courtesy, respect and inclusiveness; maintains
a positive attitude and takes responsibility for assignments.
Delivers clean linen to units and restocks shelves by linen quota. Collects soiled linens from units and sorts for processing.
Assembles, sorts, counts, folds, inspects and packs clean linens. Sorts, weighs, records and loads soiled linens. Has working
knowledge of normal laundry equipment. Maintains equipment used in the performance of the job in an orderly, useful and safe
manner. Maintains work area, facilities, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner. Maintains necessary records as
directed and assists in inventory. Reports malfunctions to Supervisor.
