Knowledge/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
WastewaterBNS/Collection systems license required after 1 year
Experience with decentralized wastewater collection and treatment system desired but not required
Essential Functions
Operate,maintain, and repair various wastewater equipment, including pumps, motors, valves
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform routine maintenance, and address any leaks or malfunctions promptly
Perform linelocatesper Tennessee 811 guidelines
Perform tank inspections
Respond to service calls
Perform required visits and maintenance /repair at treatment sites
Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to ensure proper system balance
Assistin maintenance and repair of collection system
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, and ability to operate various equipment.
Abilities/Skills
