Job Description Position: Line LeadLocation: Schaumburg, IL Pay: $20/HR-2nd ShiftJob Type: Full-time Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production line, ensuring that targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and equipment is properly maintained. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership to guide the production team toward success.  Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight & Efficiency:

• Arrive before the shift starts to ensure all equipment and materials are ready for seamless production.
• Ensure daily production goals are clearly communicated to the team and work towards achieving 100% of the target. 
• Monitor the live scoreboard, track progress, and make real-time adjustments to meet production quotas.
• Complete daily batch records and production paperwork and submit them to the Production Manager at the end of each shift.

Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting:

• Develop a strong understanding of production line equipment to troubleshoot and fix 95% of common issues.
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Assist in preventative maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Maintain a high level of quality control by regularly inspecting products and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation related to quality control is completed accurately and on time. 
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment. 

Leadership & Team Collaboration:

• Lead and motivate the production team to maximize performance and maintain a positive, high-energy work environment.
• Train and coach team members on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation
•  Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized at all times and properly set up for the next shift. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Production Completion Rate – Ensure weekly productivity averages 100% of the set targets.
• Batch Records & Documentation – Conduct weekly reviews of all production paperwork to confirm completion and accuracy.
• Equipment Knowledge & Efficiency – Maintain expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. 
• Quality Compliance – Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
