What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities):
- Craft Quality Subs: Handcraft, cook, and assemble sandwiches with precision, accuracy, and speed according to our pre-defined Firehouse Subs formulas.
- Guest Hospitality & Communication: Enthusiastically greet and interact with guests. Communicate effectively to answer questions and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
- POS & Cash Handling: Proficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, accurately ring up orders, and securely manage cash and credit card transactions.
- Food Prep & Meat Slicing: Prepare fresh ingredients daily, which includes chopping produce and operating food prep equipment such as commercial meat slicers.
- Station Cleanliness & Dishwashing: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace. Responsibilities include washing dishes, clearing debris, sweeping/mopping, and taking out trash.
- Stocking & Inventory Rotation: Keep food line stations and guest areas fully stocked with ingredients, condiments, beverages, and paper supplies.
- Dynamic Team Tasks: Actively collaborate as a team player and willingly complete other kitchen or restaurant functions assigned by the general manager, assistant manager, or shift leader.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following all established corporate, franchise, and local food health and safety guidelines.
What We Are Looking For (Job Requirements):
- Experience: 1 year of restaurant experience (Required) and 1 year of sandwich or similar food making experience (Required).
- Speed & Agility: Proven ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive attitude in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Menu Knowledge: Exceptional memory and capacity to quickly develop excellent menu and product knowledge.
- Reliability: Trustworthy team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work on-site in McDonough, GA 30253.
