Tonto Verde Country Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team.

This position is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient station throughout service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items during lunch and dinner service
• Complete daily prep and maintain proper station pars
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation on every plate
• Keep workstations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, labeling, rotation, and storage procedures
• Communicate effectively with chefs, expediters, and other kitchen team members
• Assist with additional prep and stations as needed
• Work efficiently and maintain composure during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred
• Strong basic cooking and knife skills
• Ability to follow recipes and direction consistently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen lifting and physical duties
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
